@Neville Telen Not to my knowledge. Everclear has been around forever. Why there seem to be no competing brands, I suspect to be political. Anyone can make alcohol; anyone ought to be allowed to sell it, properly ;licensed, IMo. Don't work like that. Think now, today, of the gazzillions of gallons being distilled for fuel use! Not 'Everclear'....the pure reagent grade alcohol I think required some sort of license or ATF permit or something like that, long ago. The government is tax-hungry, and will never give up the alcohol tax, in fact, there is tax on pot here (not sure if it's state or federal). As the Nannyites force through more and more stupid laws, more and more new taxes will be required to finance them.
