I love thunderstorms. Not so much, Ella. She doesn't mind rain and will sit out on the banister in the rain, but she's not so good with the thunder and lightning.
Pickles doesn't mind thunder or lightening but of course that's even rarer tha rain here but he does hate rain or any standing water. When it's raining, he pees on the back patio not the grass. At my daughter's , he'll go straight to the door that has an overhang from a balcony ...he knows when it's been raining...so smart, lol When we first got him...his first summer, my ex and I went to about 10 stores looking for a kiddie pool for him...seems they were sold out everywhere. Finally we got one. Filled it up, put Pickles in...he jumped out as fast as he could and that was the end of that.
Here we go again. I hear the thunder. There was a tornado just north of us but it looks like we're going to get another storm.
We have been getting some thunder and rain today as well, but nothing bad so far. When I looked at the radar, it looks like the same string of rain clouds goes all the way from Arkansas and northeastward, with the upper tip of it in Maine; so we are part of the same storm that you are getting, @Ken Anderson .
