If perchance you have a little more time, look up the definition of "fraternal orders or societies" and I do believe you might have to recant. No matter your personal feelings concerning the subject at hand, you just can't change reality no matter how hard you may hit the keyboard. ba-da-beam-ba-da-boom
Gentlemen, I had many go-arounds with Lon long ago in that other senior forum, and I believe that, given the minor detail of definition, which looks fuzzy to me anyway, he deserves a break. Frank
I put a “like” on @Frank Sanoica’s post because I saw a bit of sense to it and was hoping to let it drop. Lest you forget, the last time you wished to debate with this personage, it did not fare well with you nor would it this time as well. It would be far better to examine your own dictionary and allow your thread to do what it is supposed to do would it not? Now, be a good writer, do a full research, learn to spell “thorough”, and allow the good people of this forum to describe their own feelings about fraternal orders or societies as you primarily asked for. Hey, did you know that due to the fact that the membership of the KKK was just for men at one time, it too was a fraternal order? Now there’s an organization that I truly believe consists of a bunch of guys with an IQ of about say, 80 or less.
