When I think about Country and Western music living in Nashville, lots of people come to mind. To be one of my favorites, you have to fill both parts of the music, be country and have a western flavor. Two people who I still listen to and enjoy who fit this requirement:
I prefer a western flavor also. I was never able to warm up to a steel guitar, which is so prominent in a lot of country songs.
