Again, you've never been around rodeo cowboys, like I was and still a fan of, or ranch cowboys. Now, I'm really getting tired of the criticism these two types of people are getting. If a person was involved in rodeo, or even a fan, they simply won't understand the lifestyle. Like it or not, Copenhagen, Skoal and Red Man are sold in stores and are bought. To you and Chrissy it's disgusting, but to many guys, and even some ladies, it's not. I told to accept tattoo's, so why should it be any different about guys who us chew or dip?
And, to a point, to them also. That's why they don't live in big cities or areas where things like this go on. And, BTW, there are members on this forum and thread that think tattoos are disgusting. Read them!
Nobody is criticizing cowboys. I'm saying spitting is nasty, disgusting and unsanitary. As for being a cowboy, tbh...you may have been in the past but that's not your lifestyle now or will you be one once you move. You'll get to see some rodeos etc but I doubt you'll be in any and in the winter you'll probably be doing what you do for the most part in FL....stay inside. Or do you have plans on going out in the snow? Skiing? Snowmobiling? What? Driving around on icy roads looking for moose, elk or whatever you love? You've been away from the winter weather....I know I always say I love snow and winter but when I visit my son in Illinois when it's winter I can't handle the cold anymore....the snow is beautiful....looking at it from inside a warm house. We're all getting older

This IS criticizing cowboys, when they are the ones doing it. Then again, you can criticize all you want, these guys don't care a bit and I'm at that point myself. We have to remember where the criticism is coming from...….a "big city" lady who loves the "big city". "May have been", just what do you mean by that? Had a membership, horse, saddle, rope and on and on. You REALLY seem to have something against cowboys, even though you don't like the lifestyle or rodeo. BTW, were not all getting old, just some of us.
Ok...you were....you're nitpicking my words. And you're mistaken...I have nothing against cowboys. Why should I? I'm not a big city lady either...Ive lived in a few but I can also live in a small town and I have. I'm flexible! And sorry to say but everyone is getting older. That's life.
Well, have gotten really tired of all the criticism towards me concerning tattoos, swearing, using "dip", smoking and etc.. I've done a thread about each and have really ran up against member criticism towards me. Why aren't any of you criticizing any of the members that agree with me on these topics I've done on this forum? So...…….
You love Chicago. If you have nothing against cowboys, why on earth are you saying guys that "dip" or use "chew", have no class?? A lot of them do that. Lady, someday you need to visit a Stockyards, Sale Barn or Feed Lot. I've been to all three and worked at a Stockyards. I know about cowboy life, be it rodeo or ranching. Never worked a ranch, but sure have studied ranching, breeding and crop production.
Must be the way you express your views... How many times do I have to tell you...I don't care for tattoos and don't have any. I think you're too judgmental of everyone that isn't exactly like you. And aside from your wife...there aren't that many.
