That is wonderful news ! Congratulations to your nephew and all of those who stood by him and helped him. Now we need to keep those healing prayers coming that he is able to remain free of the addiction.
If I may ask, which “rehab” did he check into? I know of several that I recommend highly and just wondered if it is one of them on my list. And yes, bye the by, God is indeed a God of wonders and miracles!
Bobby, The Grove is where he is doing his Rehab (as an outpatient, in long term residential care now) and Encounter Church is his Church now where God is working the miracle in my nephew's life. https://www.thegrovela.org/ http://www.encounterchurch.today/location-times
Thank all of you for your well wishes for my nephew! And yes for those who are inclined continue praying for my nephew because God has some wonderful plans for this young man to help others be set free from drugs and alcohol when the timing is right.
Sorry Babs, but I’m not real familiar with The Grove but by the looks of the bio, it looks pretty good. What makes it even better is that he’s including Christ. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old things are passed away, behold all things are made new. II Cor. 5:17
I'm not good at praying @Babs Hunt but the ladies in my early morning Curves group are all big on prayer. I may be the only heathen in the group, . Just kidding, I'm not a heathen just not sure. Anyway, I could ask them to pray ....they all go to diffrent places of worship but do know they all have prayer groups etc. One of the ladies...she's younger has an adopted son in rehab in AZ...addiction is marijuana. Think he's 18 and still in rehab but is doing better...may get to come home soon, They just visited him at Thanksgiving. I didn't know people went to rehab for pot!!
Well Bobby....my nephew had been in and out of different rehabs....and The Grove was the one our heavenly Father picked for him personally.
There isn't a person on earth who couldn't use the gift of someone's prayers for them. So if you want to ask them to keep my nephew in prayer I know their prayers would be very much a appreciated...and yours too Chrissy. God loves you Chrissy....and so do I.
