We went to PetSmart last week to buy a Keet, but we thought it would like to have a companion, so we bought a Pair of Keets. Halsworth
@Hal Pollner, your pets seem to get along so well with one another. Until last November, I had two cats who were sisters, yet in twenty-six years together, I can think of only a few times when they were lying near one another without fighting. One cold morning, the second one carefully inserted herself into the same cat bed that her sister was in and managed to curl herself into a position of comfort. By the time I could get my camera though, my pictures were of them slapping at one another. Now I have only two cats and, while we allow them on the bed, we can never have both of them there at the same time because they'll fight.
Well Ken...my wife maintains 11 pets: 2 Canines 2 Felines 2 Avians (Parakeets) 5 Reptilians (Desert Tortoises, 2 of which she raised from Eggs.) Hal
Yeah, I'd go with an Owl. Nice voice, pretty, and small enough that I could kill it if it ever went wacko on me.
The State of California doesn't allow the private ownership of Owls and Raccoons, because they are Wild creatures, and Raccoons may carry Rabies. So I'll continue to live with Dogs and Cats! Hal
I'd like to have a lemur. They're so cute. I saw a tv program once about a couple who had beavers as house pets. All their doors have to be metal or at least metal clad because beavers apparently only recognize a door as a temporary barrier. They had a scrapbook that showed pictures of all the furniture that the beavers had chewed up. I'll have to admit that beavers are really interesting but it seems they don't make good pets.
I would love to have a baby elephant... but only if it didn't grow any more... I wouldn't have cats ever in my house, it's well documented here than I don't like them , I'm very much a Dog person...
