KING OF THE MUSCLE CARS FOUND RUSTING AWAY IN THE WOODS!!! I found this 1970 Chevelle SS454 LS6 rotting away totally intact in the woods in rural Tennessee. The car appears to have been driven to this spot and abandoned over 30 years.
In the days before zoning that was a fairly common practice in the area where I grew up. I knew one old man that used to have half a dozen of the same model car behind his barn for parts because he did not want to have to adjust to driving a different car. When we were kids we used to drive an old abandoned Pontiac behind my uncle's house.

This song brings back memories of my first car. I used to have to slip it into neutral and give it a little gas at every traffic light. I kept a milk crate in the trunk with all of the fluids a car needs. Including a can of WD40 to spray on the ignition wires and distributor cap when the wiring got wet.
