Have never liked the fact these things can be bought online. Now we have an incident at a major airport with drones disrupting flights, been going on for hours. Laser pens is another menace, they are used to disorientate pilots I know this is a crazy world - but it doesn't have to be
Ive heard of the lasers here disrupting flights. Don't know about drones...they'd have to be very expensive ones because the type that my grandsons have had were all junk and cost over $100!
No idea of the cost Chrissy but its yet another thing to be concerned about because those that 'can' are doing nothing - as yet
Daily mail should have it - just read they are 'considering' an age limit on the purchase of these things, what age would that be … I've seen some very stupid 50 year olds
Is this the story @Patsy Faye ? https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/20/uk/gatwick-airport-drones-gbr-intl/index.html
I wouldn't mind having one, with a good camera, that I could use to get photos of my land from the air. I haven't even explored it all. I'm just afraid I'll spend a couple of hundred dollars only have it crash, and never find it again.
It is Chrissy - they have not found the drone, probably been put away by now. The guy got his kicks for today
