My principal in high school had been my mother's math teacher and when I got to college he was there teaching math again.
Our New Orleans Saints are really doing well so far this season...and they have a good chance of going to the Superbowl next year....I'm sure hoping that's going to happen. If it does I'll definitely be watching them as I have been all season.
I went to school in another country to where I live now, so not likely to ever see any of my teachers..those who are still alive, not that I'd know them if I saw them. I can remember the name of my junior school teacher, Miss Murray ... and at senior school, I can remember my English, maths, French and Social science teachers' names, and my headmaster but all the rest I've forgotten , ( although I can see their faces in my minds' eye ) but I can remember my house-master 's name , a Giant of a man , who had a lot to deal with in me. My favourite teacher was the teacher who taught me English. She was the only one to recognise my bad behaviour as the result of dysfunctional parenting.. and rather than punishing me as the others did for the slightest misdemeanour's , she spent more time with me and rewarding good behaviour . I responded well to this treatment and I really enjoyed her class. It was only after I made my own way in the world I realised just how much this teacher had made a difference in my life!! Ironically, she wasn't British, she was American from either NC or SC ( can't remember which)... but I've never forgotten her, and I've always had a soft spot for all Americans ever since..
Yeah, I remember most of my teachers, although probably not all at the same time. Given a day to think about it, I could probably name them all.
I remember many of my teachers, good and bad. The one thing that made the biggest impact on my life was a teacher that stressed the need for us to always be skeptical.
@Lulu Moppet I've often seen one very similar, but can't quite remember just now..... Anyhow, agreed and understood, "Question orders given when common sense dictates do not".
