I don't believe we are the only life in the Universe so if there are more advanced creatures than us out there there may well be UFOs from distant galaxies visiting us.Can't prove that of course but it's a bit of a fluke if here is the only place life developed.
I will expand on one instance in McKinney Texas, 6 of us were riding on a cool summer night on horseback due west from my friends house on a dirt road it was very dark, the horses got very jittery for no reason all of them, we noticed a small orange object above and infront of us, it started growing larger and brighter and finally so bright it was as daylight the ladies headed for home to turn on the news Don and I kept going awhile longer it moved all over the sky making fast sharp turns doing so it was very far off yet light daylight outside, then faded and moved west until we could not see it, we got back to the house and it was all over tv and radio and was being reported in New Mexico also, Dallas, Sherman, Denison and Oklahoma TV stations were breaking into programs about it, the next day Don called me and mentioned not a word on tv not nor a mention in the morning paper yet was on every station the night before, not 1 mention, even the horses knew it was there. Late 1970's. The one in East Texas was much closer maybe 300 yds at the farthest and got right over us at tree top levels, we were looking for a wanted cattle theft suspect near Lake Palestine that was also thought to be involved in human trafficking 5 officers there saw right before dark an object circle at tree top height over us maybe 50-75' long black with a glow in the rear moving very slow with just a humming noise, we all observed it for maybe 20 minutes it finally stopped just above us, very close and not high at all we turned on the car spotlight on it very plain as so close then in a second after lighting it up it left very fast, the capt with us the next day told us "He had been told to tell us best to forget last night" No markings flat black in color as we 1st saw it before dark set in. We all were together shortly afterwards at a planning meeting and one asked us all to sketch what we saw we all did they all matched exactly, it looked like a big black bullet shape with glowing rear end. Every time any of us talk it gets mentioned still today this was mid 1980's. As remote of area we were in who knows but never heard any mention on media of it as the other one was. I know we saw it everyone else did also. No way was it a rotor wing craft as no rotor or tail rotor and no down blast when right over us maybe 100' max from us! We saw it. All 5 of us.! I have been out very much at night in very remote areas and seen a lot of things.
Bill, I shouldn't have quoted you. I was going to just say "I agree." But then started thinking, and forgot to delete the quote. That's all. Sorry.
@Tex Dennis I had a similar experience in the 1960s. I was driving on a rural road in Western Pennsylvania when a large orange disk/ ball rose silently above the forest. I thought perhaps it was a strangely large moon, but the disk just vanished. I have seen all sorts of things up here when I used to commute in the middle of the night, but we are in a military area here, so some strange things are the norm, but Western PA had no such issues.
I do believe there are UFOs when I see a plane I cannot identify it would be UFO but besides that I have seen things moving in the sky at night that looked very suspicious and would love to see something that I could identify as flying saucier or other out of this world craft
This map shows another idea of what some people think that our earth really looks like, and it shows other places outside of the part of earth that we know exists. The hollow earth theory or the flat earth theory either one would fit with something like this, and the UFO’s that we see cold be coming from outside our part of the earth.
Yvonne .. that made me remember the SFO theory which we don't hear so much about today but it is interesting and just as plausible as all others.
Can you tell us about this, @Maggie Mae ? I have not heard of the SFO theory, or at least not heard it called that. I googled; but nothing relevant came up. Another thing that has been put forth, and as far as I know has not been ruled out, is the virtual reality, or hologram theory. There was a movie that I watched about that, and it was really interesting. I can’t remember what it was called, but they sent some guy into a virtual reality world to fix something, and at the end, it turned out that the world he was living in was also a virtual reality one.
My take As posted I have seen several unknown things 1 very close all with others, there has been way to many like me that have had similar sights for all to be false, something there I do not know what...…...
Let’s all face it. If there are really some folks from way out there on another planet who are perusing this one with any kind of realistic scrutiny, they know that we just aren’t ready to receive them. From some of the cave drawings and such, mankind was obviously okay with it a few thousand years ago but we have devolved into such a state that we, planet wide, would just try to destroy anything that is within our “territorial” space.
I sorry .. I should have state that SFO is short for Submerged Flying Objects and sometimes they are called USO - Unidentified Submerged Objects.. There have been reports for many years of things entering or emerging from the oceans .. more like launching .. an underwater UFO, if you will. Odd things have been seen and found. There are many stories and I find it to be an interesting theory.
