The programs offered in high school were clumped together OWA, Woodshop etc. which included required courses or prerequisites. Those were to structured to me.
I can't remember it exactly but I do remember 'occupational work' something. There was a list of occupations to choose from back in the day. You choose your interest and then given information about it and required courses to take. It also would place you along a professional to work along side usually within the school ex. janitorial, landscaping/lawn care, office, food service was the choice of many students.
That's interesting, Von. Sounds like something they should be doing today; more practical/technical training for students.
I took 1 chemistry course was enough harder to my than college calculus and trig. I did pass it and was advised not to take another!
