That was something Trump brought up in his news conference this evening from Vietnam. He said he thought it was good that Cohen "didn't go all the way" in his lies, and told the truth about Russia. He (Trump) didn't understand why he did it, as he lied about almost everything else, but he appreciate that he only lied 95%, not "all in".
The whole thing was setup by Clinton's lawyer than he was interview to get his statement correct by Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi. Can you say setup why did he not talk to a Republican???
I watched it a while. Cohen may lie a little but he's not nearly the liver his former boss is so I'll give him a pass. Anyway, Cohen didn't say anything most of us had not heard before. What I'm glad of and what I was hoping would happen was that Cohen would shed some light in the these hearings that would land to someone else to investigate, like this weasleburg or whatever his name is, The family bookkeeper for the family the past thirteen years or so. Now he ought to be fun.

From the legal analysis I listened to, although there was all kinds of accusations made, not one was truly criminal even if they are true, which is unlikely. I would like to see any politician withstand the scrutiny that Trump has undergone and come out with so little. Most of them are crooks in some form or another. I was not really a fan of Ted Stevens, but from everyone I have talked who knew him or worked for him, he was a truly honest politician. Unfortunately, Obamacare would not have passed with him in the Senate, so his removal was engineered and the charges were dropped after he was removed.
That is so true, @Ken Anderson. I am ashamed of the corruption at all levels. Maybe we can subject the entire government apparatus to the scrutiny that Trump has undergone....
