Keep this in mind when you consider the oft-stated complaints that Trump didn't trust the intelligence community.

I don't know about FBI at all levels, but the top was certainly corrupt. Chuck Schumer warned Trump about criticizing the Intelligence community but the warning was not heeded. The coup attempt was already underway when the warning was issued, so it probably wouldn't have made any difference. It is widely believed that JFK was taken out by our own intelligence community because he was going to "rip apart the CIA" or some such statement made by him. It is also widely known that J. Edgar Hoover had been blackmailing politicians for decades, including the Kennedys. Trump is just the latest of the victims.

Actually, I am totally inclined to agree with @Lulu Moppet about this. She used the term “rethuglicans”, which is disgraceful; but no different or worse than people using the term “ demoncrats” is. The jokes and ridicule of President Trump is about on a par with the ridicule of Rep. AOC, or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. And, lets go a step further, while we are at it. I saw a picture that someone posted of the terrible flooding that is going on in Iran right now, and they are saying that so much of the land and homes are devastated, and it is the worst flooding in over 100 years. However, the person who put the picture on Facebook was saying how glad he was that this country full of Muslims was getting flooded, and he hoped that it continues. This is just WRONG ! We are losing our compassion for our fellow human beings (as well as the sentient animals that also inhabit this earth of ours), and people seem to think that any kind of name calling is fine, if it is done to someone whom you do not agree with. Disagreeing with a persons ideas or beliefs is one thing, but ridiculing and attacking a person for what he believes is SO not right !
