Exactly! Two other reasons: When you have to fill out some form and a phone number is required, and I don't want whoever it is to call me. Making a call when you know you're going to have to hit a bunch of buttons. I used to disconnect all the time with the cellphone, but I'm getting better at it. It is off the hook most of the time due to telemarketing calls. Question: Is there a way on a pc or laptop to ring your cell phone using the internet? . .
With a Mac, it's pretty easy. My iMac, MacBook, and iPhone are all synced. It's kind of annoying because, although I rarely answer my phone, it interrupts whatever I am doing on my computer whenever someone calls. Specifically speaking, I don't know that it's using the Internet, though. It's using the wireless signal. I don't often do so, but I can make telephone calls from my computer, using the sync between the computer and the phone.
Would you have called it from another cell phone? Or laptop? If this is a stupid question, it's because I don't know anything.
We called my phone from Bobby’s cell phone. Normally, that would help , but since I have the Apple Watch , I have everything on vibrate and not on ringtone. When someone calls me, the Apple Watch vibrates on my wrist , and I can either answer the phone call with the watch, or get my phone out of my purse if i want to do that. So, when Bobby called me, all it did was vibrate both my missing phone and my Apple Watch, and didn’t help us to know whether my phone was right there in the truck or somewhere else. We have an app called find my friends, and it shows you where your friends are at, and that is how we located my phone. When we looked on Bobby’s phone to see where it showed my phone as being, it showed that I was somewhere in Sam’s Club. This made me really happy, because I knew it was still in there SOMEPLACE, and I just had to track it down, and naturally, customer service was the best place to start, and that is where it was at. It is too bad that you do not use an iPhone, because having an Apple Watch would probably solve your problem, too. You can leave your phone on the golf cart where it is safe, and if you need to make a call for help, you can do that with the Apple Watch. It has a safety feature so that if you should fall down, the watch will detect that, and ask you if you have fallen, and if you need help. If you say you do need help, then it calls emergency, plus any emergency contact numbers in your phone list. If you fell and passed out, or can’t respond for some reason, to say that you are okay, then it calls for help, so either way, it will call 911 and find you with the GPS on the watch. As far as calling with a laptop, we can make phone calls, or answer them, with our iPads, but usually we do not do that, and I have that function turned off on my iPads because I do not want to be bothered with them when I am busy doing something on my iPad.
