Chrissy just informed me that Meg and Harry have a baby boy - all 7lb 3oz of him I was sure it was to be a girl Lovely news
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has given birth to a healthy baby boy, prompting the newborn's proud father Prince Harry to gush that the 'little thing is absolutely to-die-for'. Meghan went into labour in the early hours of this morning and gave birth to a boy weighing 7lbs 3oz at 5.26am, having been more than a week overdue. Speaking from Windsor, a visibly-excited Prince Harry shared his immense pride as he joked of getting just two hours' sleep, calling the birth 'the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined'. In a statement shortly after the birth was announced, Buckingham Palace said Meghan and her baby were 'both doing well', and that the Queen and other members of the royal family were 'delighted' with the news. An overjoyed Prince Harry said: 'Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It's been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody.' Now the bets are on for the baby's name...I'm putting my money on Albert the Queen's father... or Alexander, because Alexandra is the Queen's middle name..
I don't know why that bugged me so much. I had two pregnancies and was as big as a house both times, but I managed to not walk around clutching my "bump". (Another modern term that makes me gag.) HAHA I guess I'm just a cranky ole' bat.
Yes it irritated the heck out of everyone I know as to why she was holding onto her stomach all the time, like she was expecting something to fall out!! I've had 2 pregnancies as well, and like you was as big as an outhouse ..never once in my memory did I hold onto it like it was a football...
It bugs me the way people will run up and start touching a pregnant woman's stomach. Not sure why anyone thinks that's ok. The duchess probably didn't have to deal with that.
Funny how we differ, I found the 'touching of bump' an endearing thing to witness better than walking around with arms crossed
