@Hal Pollner New twist at our store: they have them randomly stopping customers leaving the store and check their receipts against their "goods". Frank
When our Wal-Mart started doing that years ago, I complained to corporate that I wasn't interested in being treated like a criminal. They sent me a $50 gift card. I don't mind being treated like a criminal if they pay me for it......
I think I might apply for that job. You get to see and talk to people all day or at least as long as your shift lasts. I told the greeter at my local Walmart that I wanted his job. He said all I need to do is fill out an application. The only time they check my receipt is when I have something that is not bagged; like a crate of water, fan, and other items that are too big to bag. Then they are very nice and polite about it. I don't mind it at all.
@Shirley Martin So you could be the perfect criminal? Smooth, uncaring, not worried, slip right by 'em? Frank
