Trump scares the status quo because he talks about thing people are interested in and not treated like mushrooms [kept in the dark and fed shit] which are what the other candidates want. He keeps talking like a person who wants US to be great again which could scare someone who remembers Hitler but Hitler took the guns so he could do what he did and Trump wants everyone that can pass a test to have a concealed carry permit. This would make it very difficult for the government to fight the people.

The media is going out of their way to try and discredit and miss quote Donald Trump. I only hope that people are smart enough to see it.

I'm beginning to believe that Trump is a sure bet for the Republican win because Rubio and Cruz are going to destroy each other while Trump sits back and enjoys the show. Same with Christie vs Rand Paul. I doubt if Bush is going to persue Trump anymore…that's a been-there-done-that and didn't work.

The media is always trying to compare him to Hitler which only makes the media look like idiots because everyone knows the only comparison is that Trump will be a strong leader, end of comparison.

Trump knows what to say. He's a salesman. And, he has done a fantastic job selling himself to an overwhelming majority of those who say they will vote Republican. It is still my opinion that Trump is for Trump. He sees the potential to enhance his wealth by being POTUS and bullying his way to more riches. But, that's just my opinion.

I also have a difficult time believing the Republican Party will allow Trump to be their candidate. He's saying things to sell himself to the people, but scaring the beJesus out of the Party. History may well be in the making. Trump secures plenty of delegates by way of primary elections to win the nomination. At the convention, the Party manipulates how delegates are selected and the brokered convention names another candidate. The fun and games ain't over folks!!!! :>)

The nominees will be well known well before the Convention takes place. The last time a nominee wasn't clear was in 1976 when incumbent Gerald Ford narrowly defeated Ronald Reagan. By the way, the Republican Convention is July 18-21, 2016. Primaries (and/or caucuses) start February 1 and end in June. Tonight is the democratic debate.

Trump has no speech writer like the others he talks from the heart and he must believe what he is saying. The others are all prompted on what to say. When it comes to dealing with other country leaders you need to think on your feet which he has shown that he can.

You've got it, @Martin Alonzo. The other candidates recite talking points that were written for them based on polling results, while Trump says what he thinks even when he knows he's going to be dragged over the coals for it, and he's smart enough to survive. Sure, sometimes he says something that may not be a hundred percent accurate, and sometimes he says something stupid, but look at what we've lived with for the past seven years. Obama's lies are on the teleprompter, and this is a guy who said that he had visited 57 U.S. states during his 2008 campaign, and had one more to go. He was elected anyhow.

Hillary LIED (now proven) when she said Trump is ISIS main recruiter and is appearing in ISIS propaganda videos

Bernie Saunders BREACHED Hillary's voter database, whatever that is nor do I know why. He said "sorry" and it was brushed under the table.

Trump won't stop with the GOOFY FACES and has no respect for the average woman. If he would just stop the goofy faces he might have a chance at Commander in Chief of a Great Nation (because everyone seems to forgive him for the Victoria Secret model syndrome…except the average woman).

Cruz: Can't beat hillary because Non-Christians (a growing population) are going to be turned off by Cruz for being an openly committed CHRISTIAN.

Rubio is the YOUNGEST at 43. Other than that, his only vice so far is not showing up to vote on bills that reach the senate floor which he has a good excuse (busy with a presidential campaign) but he better stop pointing the finger at others for Nay votes that he doesn't agree with…it just reminds the media that he didn't even show up for what he says was an important bill.

Christie can't seem to gain traction…maybe because all anyone remembers from him are law enforcement topics and not much on ECONOMY & FOREIGN AFFAIRS.

I say we should "carpet bomb them all into oblivion" and start over :D I'm just kidding! (For those who may not know, Cruz said to carpet bomb ISIS into oblivion which the media jumped all over)

In the beginning of November, Trump announce that "under a Trump Administration, all veterans eligible for VA health care can bring their veteran’s ID card to any doctor or care facility that accepts Medicare to get the care they need immediately,” says information on his campaign website.

His plan to improve Veterans Health Care and overhaul a failed system is billed as “the Trump Plan”, the initiative would allow veterans to get medical care from any doctors or medical facilities that accept Medicare. It also would give veterans education benefits, business loans, job training and placement services to ease their transition from battlefield to civilian life.

If Trump could just stick with his intelligent side and loose the unpresidential delivery he'd win.

There are rumors that Ted Cruz is considering dropping out of the presidential race to run as Trump's vice president.

That's a rumor that seems highly unlikely to me, a rumor perpetuated by the fact that they get along...but I wouldn't put it past Cruz to accept a runningmate spot if Trump wins the nomination. Cruz is not going to be in the number 2 spot in the polls and then drop out…no way….especially when Trump is such a loose cannon and could drop in the polls at his next slip-of-the-tongue leaving Cruz at the top.

Trump has been in the number one spot almost since day one.

Trump has indeed held the number one spot and I venture to say he will probably hold it, slip of the tongue, or not. He simply tells it as he sees it. I may not agree with some of his statements but I do love the fact that he is extremely candid about his thoughts. It's a type of personal honesty and transparency that we as the American common folk, have not seen or heard even in the years of Reagan. How can you fault a person who doesn't have to lie?

The problem: as people rally around Trump especially when he makes those "slips," Hillary's backing gets even stronger with each lie and transgression she is being found to have committed!!

And, to stay on topic, I too heard that Cruz might vie for the VP spot but only if Trump gets the nod first. I still think that if Trump gets the nod he should pick his cabinet from the other GOP candidates.

One, and only one of the things that I love about Donald Trump is the fact that he will not treat HRC with the kid gloves that she has come to expect from all the other male candidates. She is such a "strong woman," but she can't take the mud when it's thrown back in her face. She is petty, lying and shrewd, and the honesty of Trump has most likely left her head spinning. He's not intimidated by her, or any of her socialist cronies. The man is fearless, AND he's put his own money on the line. I don't see any Democrat OR Republican doing that.

I am not here to argue for the man because he surely does have faults. However, please keep in mind that these faults are greatly exaggerated by the media, which has acted very much like the National Enquirer, as they seek the most uncomplimentary photos to use of him, continually take everything he has to say out of context, placing it in the least favorable context, and misrepresenting most everything he has to say. Additionally, media "fact-checking" of things that Trump has said is laughable, at best. In one "fact checking" story that was published by the AP, the headline said that he had lied in a large percentage of what he said at a recent debate. However, when you read the story, which most people don't do, you would find that his statements were deemed wrong if they were denied by some prominent Democrat or by someone with the Obama administration. That's not fact checking -- that's simply taking sides.

One thing Trump is better at than anyone is hiring the best person to get the job done. Any first term president is going to need the best advisors in their particular area of expertise that best match the cabinet's duties. Paul Ryan would be best for Dept of Treasury but then again he'd be best for many of the departments and will be our President next time around.
