You are complicated by the Commonwealth having access to Britain free-of-charge, @Holly Saunders. I remember the IRA terrorists getting a big charge out of the fact that they could be on the dole while plotting against the "English". Many Muslim extremists are enjoying the same benefits, not just in the UK, but in other European countries as well.

Is China succeeding in its 2017 plan of world domination. We have all seen from the outside the huge economic steps China has made over recent times. We have all seen the militarisation of the South China Sea. But I believe it is what most of us cant see that is the biggest danger to world peace. China has taken those world domination plans to a more dangerous playing field by doing it by stealth. It already has a foothold in some Pacific island nations with its "checkbook diplomacy" and is now trying to muscle in on Australia.
They have certainly gained an advantage over the United States after a succession of US presidents and other elected officials have given away the farm. Domination of space by China would be the end, so it's about time we restart our space program.
They are definitely working on isolating Australia. When they have total control of the Spratleys shipping to Down Under may have to take a longer way around. China also controls both ends of the Panama Canal, thanks to the wizard of diplomacy, Jimmie Carter
