Rain Fall

How many tonnes of rain do you think falls onto this Earth every minute ?
Please don't look this up - but have a guess, if you know the answer - save it for a while

 

I don't have a clue but know for sure that it's way too little where I live.

OK, at the risk of making a fool of myself (Is tones a measurement for rain? I'm used to gallons only ): 30 000 tonnes would be my wild guess...Just for you.

That's what I expected. I may be too biased due to living in a desert zone. Let's make it 3 mio t then.

 

Dunno but think about it. Until we started peeing in space, the earth has had the same amount of water that it started with however long ago it began.

Edit: Oh, the answer. The same amount of water that went up, came down.
