Lately, when I'm on the computer for awhile, I tend to get dizzy and feel like I could pass out. I just this morning increased the size of things on the monitor and it seems to help a lot.

First check your blood pressure when that happens if it is not to low then check your sugar at that time to make sure it is not low. The last is it could be osteoprosis of the skull and pinching the nerves going through the cranial openings this can also cause ringing in the ears and loss of taste and smell.
    Good luck Ike

Ike, try taking your eyes off the monitor and focusing on a spot on the wall for a few seconds. Do that every few minutes and see if it helps.

This is a good practice because regardless of age, our eyes get strained with the glare of the monitor. In our office, we have this unwritten rule to stand up and leave the computer for 5 minutes for each hour of computer work, that is to give the eyes the proper respite. Especially if you have poor eyesight or wearing improper eyeglasses (with the wrong grade), you can be dizzy when your eyes are strained. But another cause of dizziness is astigmatism. Check it out.
