This might belong somewhere else, but since we have been posting pictures of our First Lady here in this thread, I would just like to throw in this little tidbit, about her outfits. At least two of them are almost perfect copies of dresses worn by the beloved Princess Diana. What do you make of this ? Coincidence or something more ?

I have been reading the ugliest social media comments about Melania and it makes me sad how ugly the world is now. She is a beautiful woman with impeccable taste yet she is demeaned by those with Trump Derangement Syndrome. I will never understand what makes people be so hateful, and I'm so sad for my grandchildren to be living in such a world. Anyway, I think Melania's outfits have been gorgeous, even the "stewardess" outfit she wore getting off the plane. (Though it was a nod to British design house Burberry, the haters trashed it and ridiculed her as looking like a flight attendant.)
Don't get depressed or upset @Beth Gallagher @Patsy Faye ...those people are morons and have no taste whatsoever. I remember when M Obama wore sleeveless dress..om..people all but crucified her for that. If I had arms like that I would not have sleeves either!
You are absolutely right I did not suggest she was because that's not what I believe at all Simply stating she has worked tirelessly at her task of being Queen
I read somewhere that Melania was dressing in honor of Diana, but I have no idea if it is true. Apparently, the First Lady admired the Princess in a different time, and now has the opportunity to pay tribute to her in a silent way.
This is a genuine smile from her. She is even loking him in the eyes. Whatever they spoke of tickled her fancy.
I don't think it's anything to do with taste tbh, they're just being Trump Haters!! If Catherine was wearing the same outfits she would have been lauded for looking very glamorous!!
I"m not sure if that would be correct that she dressed in honour of Diana... if anything she would have known that , it may have caused upset with Camilla or indeed the Queen..remember Diana was not a favourite of the Royal family generally... ... Instead I think that the more likely reason is that Melania grew up admiring Dianas' sense of style being as they were both very tall beautiful women and learned what would suit her from seeing Diana's outfits, and has copied much of that in her own mode of dress
Oh so much went on with our highly educated prior First Lady...Talk about the criticisms and cutting remarks for 8 yrs.....forget this huh....there was so much ugliness during the B.O. administration. And I'd like to see our current First Lady smile and appear to be happy in her place but it's seldom and on the Smiles, good to see the Queen smile.
