The 75th Anniversary of D-Day was held in the UK and France yesterday. They interviewed several nonagenarians from the dreadful battle. One a Brit who was in the landing one an Aussie who bombed the Normandy coastline before the actual landings. Today both live in the same Sydney nursing home.
I watched an interview today of Jake Larson, 96 year old D-Day veteran from the U.S. and heard his story. I'd post the web page video, but it will probably be moved in a day or two. . His positive attitude was so refreshing.. It was certainly a different generation.
