You'd think you could at least delete some of them, if not all. That Chinese dinner with chicken and rice with all those spices and covered with Kale with almost five hundred calories, right there on the can it would say: 1 serving, 475 calories. If not satisfactory, place in microwave, cook on high for two minutes, ten seconds. Let sit for one minute then hit delete calories. You'd think. 6Jul19 Calories: 1610 Weight: 174.8
That looks like my microwave bacon. Skipped breakfast this morning, went out to the farmer's market which sets up at our fair grounds each Saturday morning. Couldn't find a parking place so I sit in the car and waited on my lady.. She bought four homegrown tomatoes for $7.00, three medium size and one large. Stopped at Sprouts on the way home and bought green beans to snap and small new potatoes. I got a Mexican Vagan TV dinner and a dozen apricots. I bought a loaf of whole wheat bread which is labeled White bread done right. Not very good. We both had a sandwich with this new bread. I'd give it a 2.5 or 3 out of 5. Ann doesn't have much of a taster, nor did she make any comment about the bread. She only ate a half slice. She finished up on cookies, I on strawberries.
July 6/7 Calories: 1240 Weight : 126.0 At $2.48 I'll reluctantly admit the pineapple was worth the effort. It lasted 4 days easily. You can't eat too much or it numbs your mouth, and doesn't have many calories for the sweetness (still doubt the calories). 1300 cal/day is actually harder for me than 900. There are no options at 900. Can I eat this? Nope. That? Nope, Nope, Nope, ...etc. . What's left you get tired of, so it keeps getting easier. Shooting for 1300 there are options. Options are tricky. I'm trying to find out WHY there is so much whispering going on that you should have a higher BMI when you get older. I suspect the data they are basing it on may be after the fact data. In other words, they check your health, record weight, and those who are unhealthy are also under weight. Sounds like spurious correlation. Otherwise It seems like a social issue. Overweight people socialize more ??? Maybe that's because people always try to talk you out of losing weight, which always ruffles my feathers. One source
July 7/8 Calories: 1270 Weight: 125.0 Just a fluke. Three hours off and on in the heat yesterday evening cutting and loading more red tips. Think I'll try upping calories to 1600 starting today. In spite of what "they" say, I don't think several small meals a day is a good thing for me. That's what got me into weight creep in the first place. Several meals became 10. Piecing.
July 8/9 Calories: 1590 Weight: 126.4 I don't have the patience for this, so it's back down with the calories today.
You guys are doing just GREAT with the weight loss...... KEEP IT UP .... Myself I lost about 10 pounds so far in the first month and I am not stopping.. I have about 5 or 7 more pounds to go before I reach my goal.. On low carb and about 20 carbs a day maximum.. Carbs mostly from veggies..
Thanks Steve. You are doing well too. We will get there! My diet buddy seems to have left the room, so I quit posting daily. Maintenance calories look to be around 1800 on couch potato days, and 2000 when doing yard work. The low calorie habit got well established. It seems unnatural now to go back up near 2000. Had 2 cups of white rice yesterday just to get it up to 2000. Predicted outcome.
Well Nancy.... The way I see it is ............ we didn't gain those pounds overnight so don't expect to lose them overnight... Off slowly and it will most likely stay off................. Forever I hope....
