In 1983, he was admitted to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame. 9. His favourite drink was Guinness which he had every day, even having a tap installed in his home. 10. He was offered the role of Grandpa Joe in the 2005 film of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory but died before he could accept it.
