    All the residents where I live have various displays at their apartment front door and typically change with the seasons or holidays. I keep mine the same with my BUDDA & Chalice. My neighbor has Jake his dog.

    I have a Jewish Mezuzah on my door. It has a rolled up scroll on the inside with a particular scripture in Hebrew. Basically, it is to remind you to walk with God and to keep you safe from the world.

    So, you have amazing pictures of half of Europe, but you don't have one of your front door? :p:p

    @Bess Barber
    Everything we have hanging on or near a door, is on the refrigerator! Nothing outside the front door, but an "intrusion equalizer" standing inside!

    I would like a sign that says GO AWAY but, instead, I have a doorbell.

    Me too. I'm thinking about getting one of these door mats. They are on amazon and not too expensive.

    @Beth Gallagher
    I've often wondered about the depth of mentality involved where folks apply decals, signs, slogans, and subtle threats to bumpers of cars, home windows, back windows, and the like. Do they not SEE that they are inviting foolishly, retaliation by some who take grave offense? Some are humorous, true:

    However, this kind is an open invitation to break-in during owner absence:

    This type is surely used by the up and coming Prosecutor as an example of a "gun-nut" inclination, a gun owner who used his arm in justifiable self-defense, charged with a crime anyway. Also a theft invitation:

    This one I've often seen variations of, in front windows of homes, implying the owner is armed, again placed there, IMO, by a fool who very well may be itchin' to shoot an intruder; if he does, such display will most surely be used against him in court. Often it states "Protected by Smith & Wesson".

    The other direction: placed by the avid anti-gunner, this begs for retaliation by some gun-crazed lunatic:

    Nothing on our front door, unless it's a Halloween or Christmas decoration. Nothing outside either. If there would be, it would be a horse tied up to a hitching post by the door. LOL

    Not much in the way of enhancements, but it's a barn door. There's another door beyond it.
