Top democratic candidate seeking to be president. Biden was talking to donors at a fundraising event in San Diego Sunday evening when he spoke about the two shootings that occurred over the weekend. The former Vice President reportedly referred to the shootings as “the tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before,” according to a pool report. The shootings occurred in El Paso Saturday and Ohio Sunday. Biden later corrected himself, the Washington Examiner reported. https://www.yahoo.com/news/biden-reportedly-offers-sympathy-wrong-105600558.html I can almost hear him congratulating himself if he won the 2020 election. Something along the lines of. YEP this is a big "f"ing deal.
They are making a big stink about President Trump naming the wrong city but not about Biden naming two wrong cities.
If by some weird chance he does get elected, he will just be the puppet with others behind the curtain pulling the strings. I will really be more interested in who his running mate will be; I thought maybe Kamala until she dissed him in the first debate.
Stranger things have happened. Look at Hillary and Obama. Yet he chose her to be his vice-president. Or should I say, she was chosen for him.
‘Low information voters’ are a crucial part of Trump’s support "Our research finds that Trump has attracted a disproportionate (and unprecedented) number of “low-information voters” to his campaign. Furthermore, these voters are more likely to respond to emotional appeals — whether about the economy, immigration, Muslims, racial relations, sexism, and even hostility to the first African American U.S. president, Barack Obama. They are the ideal constituency for a candidate like Trump." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2016/11/07/low-information-voters-are-a-crucial-part-of-trumps-support
@Lulu Moppet , are you saying that I and all President Trump's supporters are stupid, ignorant deplorables? @Frank Sanoica , that was a major Oopsie. I do know better.
I would never use the word deplorables. And I knew you made an Oopsie, who doesn't? Should have stuck with my original reaction: OY VEY!
@Shirley Martin And I, ever the pragmatic "watcher" could have let it go, and allowed someone else to do dirty work. Frank
But you are saying that I am stupid? Ignorant? Uneducated? BTW, I have never, ever said anything bad about President Obama. I didn't agree with his politics but I don't disrespect the man.
No, I guess I might be saying you can't take a joke. Like a lot of threads around here, i.e. (off the top of my head) "Democrats", what's good for the goose, etc. Lighten up Shirley, I'm from Brooklyn. If I were really insulting you, you wouldn't have to ask, and it would be me and a very few others asking the question.
