I found the ancient aliens on my Amazon Prime Movies, but there is something like 10+seasons of it, and adding da Vinci to my search only narrows it down a bit. Any idea which season this is on ? I will keep checking.
I didn't watch it. Was just finding the episode info for @Yvonne Smith so she could avoid having to search a gazillion seasons for it.
The implication was that he was given a glimpse of the future by aliens, but there may be another explanation. He also had knowledge about the Christian teaching which was regarded as heretical. He tried to put these truths across in his paintings. Certainly, he had access to knowledge which was outside his time. I have enjoyed watching this series myself, but we must still keep an open mind. One of the problems with it is that they see aliens as the answer to all unsolved mysteries. I think they are right about many things but not everything.
So true ! I'm engrosses whilst watching and at the end, we discuss the theories and some make sense. Not sure he met 'aliens' but he definitely had a glimpse into the future. I'm like 'Dora' above - I take it all in then whoosh - gone is the info leaving little traits behind I guess I watch too much info
One of the problems is the way the programme is presented. They make it all so dramatic, and keep repeating themselves. This is why I much prefer to read a book. There is a book out which covers the Aliens Special they did. It's too expensive for me, I'm afraid.
Ah no - couldn't read a book Ha ha, yea, they take it all very seriously but some of it is worthy of that, anyway - its escapism to another world
If you have Amazon, they put some of the kindle ebooks on sale or discounted every day, and it changes all of the time. Also, I read a lot, so I have the Kindle Unlimited, and with that you can get books that cost more sometimes, too. You are only checking them out to read, like a library, but at least then you know if it is worth spending the money to buy the book if it turns out to be something you want to add to your book library permanently. Another place to check for books, is on eBay . I have gotten an ebook of some very expensive (to me) books for around 99cents. What is the book called that is about the aliens special that you are referring to ? Also, I agree with you that aliens are not always the right answer for everything. I think that evidence points to a highly developed civilization, probably pre-flood timeframe, and a less evolved one coming after that. If this is true, then some of the things we think had to have been done by aliens, could also have been done by a race of people who lived right here.

Yes, there is a lot we don't know about the history of our world. We are arrogant enough to think that we are the most advanced human beings that have lived. As well as Atlantis, there is a legend of a large island in the pacific, which had a very advanced civilisation. They had colonies around the world, evidence of which still remains. It's such a pity that those who are curious are so often met with ridicule.
