    Bill Gates discovered that he could thaw out frozen chocolate chip cookies, by laying them next to the fan on his computer. "re-heating cookies" became "deleting cookies".....and the rest is urban legend!:confused:

    @Joe Riley
    You are very witty in your posting, so did you make that up or is it true?

    Normally, I am the only one who eats the chocolate chips, so I thought maybe I should learn how to make them. I took three from the freezer and sat them next to the computer. When I ate the second one, it was slightly warm and thawed out. That is when I typed the first post in this thread.

    Bill Gates was not involved.

    Real-life Cookie Monster nabs huge golden cookie from German cookie factory (COLD CASE 2013)
    [IMG]
    A real-life "Cookie Monster" has struck in Germany.

    "Police are hunting for the culprit behind the theft of a famed 44-pound golden cookie from outside a factory in Hannover earlier this month."

    "The trail of crumbs leading to the person responsible quickly went stale — at least, until the alleged thief sent a ransom note, signed "Cookie Monster," to local newspaper Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, this week."

    "I have the cookie! And you want it," reads the letter, composed of newspaper cuttings, according to Speigel Online."

    "Accompanying the note is a picture of the beloved Sesame Street character taking a bite out of the massive golden sweet, which previously stood on a statue outside a factory for one of the leading German cookie companies: Bahlsen."

    "In the letter, the purported perp demands that a box of cookies be sent to a local children's hospital in exchange for the return of the oversized snack."

    The ransom note, composed of newspaper cuttings, demands that a box of cookies be sent to a local children’s hospital in exchange for the iconic golden snack.

    (Bahlsen, meanwhile, has offered to donate 52,000 packages of cookies to the hospital if the golden emblem is returned to its home. The company also maintains that it has nothing to do with the theft.)
