We had one cat who loved the vacuum cleaner. You could run the brush attachment all over him, even his stomach. Every other cat I've ever had scrambles under the couch even before you turn it on. I guess they all learned early I don't vacuum much under there. Nice way to spring clean the cat (keeping on topic ). It was an old Electrolux canister vac, exactly like this one.
@Nancy Hart Jeez, what memories that image produced! As a small kid, my first pet, a cat, loved to lay on it's back and have it's tummy rubbed. In that position, it so resembled my Mother's Electrolux, which was identical to your image, the cat came to be known as "Electrolux Cat"! Thank you for it! Frank
@Nancy Hart We had one of those when I was growing up too. I like cleaning appliances and this pic made me wish I had one. I can look at it and remember how cool it was to use. I like it way better than the ones we have today.
