    HEY BOBBY.....

    WHAT trainer?

    WHAT gym?

I don't go to any Gym...that's for those who want to WORK OUT, which ain't Me!

An 83-year-old who works out on a bench at a gym is asking for a Cardiac Arrest!

You don't DRIVE your aging body...you PAMPER it!

I just like to do a few moderate reps, not enough to cause a sweat, and that's just fine!

I've been lifting weights casually and intermittently for the past 68 years. I never went to a Gym to "work out", just fooled around at home with home-made barbells.

I now have a proper weight bench and am asking which method to follow for presses, butterflys and curls:

Heavy weights and few reps, or lighter weights with many reps?

    Thanks,
    Hal, age 83

Definitely the latter. It's the reps that build the muscle.
If you measure progress in reps and sweat, you're an athlete.;)

@Hal Pollner Don't overdo it!!! Ease into it slowly so you don't stress out your heart or muscles.
