Things That Make Life Easier

We hired a lawn crew a few years ago. That made pesky lawn maintenance a lot easier!!

 

Sounds good, Bob. I just use my iPad.

 

Rechargeable screwdriver and drill. No more electrical cords to mess with. Also have "ratchet" type closed-end wrenches. Much easier than taking the open-end wrench off of a bolt every time to loosen or tighten a bolt.

The old Potato Peeler! No more wasting the potato peeling with a paring knife.

 

We've had those types of tools for a very long time @Cody Fousnaugh , they do indeed make life a little easier ..

 

Cordless tools are quite handy for sure. I've never cared much for a potato peeler, though. My preference is a good paring knife, or to just scrub potatoes and leave the skin on.

 

I wish someone would invent a self cleaning microwave.

 

That's what I do when I make my potatoes for breakfast. Just scrub and leave skin on.

 

I've always liked potato skins. When I make homemade french fries I like the crispy skin.

 

I buy the frozen kind you put in the oven. They are pre-peeled.

 

The skins from a baked potato are one of my faves.

 

Me too, Al. The skin's the best part.

I like a little potato skin with my butter. (No such thing as "too much butter!!")

 

I think this is a cool gadget. Could've really come in handy during my gin and tonic years.

 

I have a wooden back scratcher that I use also for reaching on top shelf for things. Or under things...or to retrieve a bra that fell between the wall and a cedar chest.
For 99 cents it was worth every penny
