Pop corn out. Another what ever on the 12th. But the only honest decent candidate might be barred. Name Tulsi Gabbard.
I think she is the only sensible Democrat running. The rest are trying to outdo each other in their nuttiness. To bad the DNC is against her.
Disgusting how? I'm not saying Democrats should die. I actually did know some good Democrats. Have voted for some of them in the past, back when they stood for things I agreed with. Sadly, the Democrats don't stand for anything I agree with now. Equally sad, the old ones who stood for what I agree with have died. I miss them.
@Lulu Moppet There was a time when most southerners were democrats. At a later time, many remained registered in the party so they could vote in local primaries. After more time, a good majority went to the other side. It was almost as though the two parties did a flip flop regarding their original platforms. I'm not sure why. I don't know when the big liberal -vs- conservative lines were drawn. I guess it's the oddity of politics.
You two are trying to pretend you don't know your own history? The former Southern Democrats became Republicans so they could still enjoy being their racist selves. George Wallace was a Democrat, you think he would be today? Of course not! He'd be a Southern Republican if he were alive now. "Yep, I didn't leave the Democratic party, they left me." Right. Do I have to explain your own history to you again? And Shirley, your jokes ain't funny.
I don't want to further this argument. You read my thread "Something Really Bad" or whatever I called it. You want me, Shirley, to join your fond list of Democrats who are Dead? Doubt if I'd make it anyway.
The joke is not about dead Democrats. It's a reference to the joke about Democrat voter fraud, registering dead people to vote. It's like saying, "My uncle voted Republican his whole life but, since he's been dead, he has voted the straight Democrat ticket." Or the meme that a disgusting person, whom I am very close to, made a few years ago.
@Tom Galty I really haven't paid enough attention to any of them to have a ......almost said favorite.......but THAT wouldn't be the right word.
