Smilies, Emojis, Whatever

Hey @Ken Anderson -- is there something you can turn on in the forum software that will allow emojis from Windows or Apple devices to display in a post? I know it must be possible because they will show up on "an inferior forum" that is also running xenForo. Just curious; I'm sure you have nothing better to do.

Thanks, Frank. I know where to find plenty of emojis; I was just wondering why the ones on a Windows OS or an Apple device (iPad, iPhone) don't show up when posting on SOC. On another forum running the same software, they do show up.

Then again, isn’t that kind of like taking a giant leap backwards in time when the cave dwellers wrote on their walls in pictures?

I think emoji's are important because they add the facial expression one would generally share along with a comment or opinion. Without it, you don't know if they are serious or just odd.
