Above Ground Pools

Bye Bye Pool!

After having it up for just over 2 months, I began dismantling it today, the first day of Autumn.

I floated in it only 4 times, and had to Skim it, Sweep it, Vacuum it, Chlorine it, and Pump it many more times than that!

Too little Fun and too much Maintenance!

Anybody want a 10' pool? I'll have it packed in the boxes it came in, and it's yours if you'll come and pick it up. (You can have 3 of the smaller pumps.)

No, Frank, this is my 4th above-ground pool.

I had a 10', a 12', a 15; and this 10'.

Holly, if I shipped it Across the Atlantic Ocean, it would probably cost me more than $20!

I just don't like the responsibility of the required maintenance.

I wondered who might catch that! My one-track mind kept thinking back of a wonderful prime rib restaurant my first wife and I frequented back in Illinois named "Foree's".

I'm not salvaging the swim-pool.....I'm trashing it, but keeping the pump.

There isn't a family with kids who might really enjoy it? You could donate it to them!! That's what I would do. Drive around and find a family that looks like they could use a happy surprise. They would probably even come and get it.

 

The families with kids already have an above-ground or in-ground pool.

I know, cuz I live here.
