You might all be surprised or even happy..(or sad)...to learn you can't buy Baloney here... but that doesn't stop it being on many people's tongues...
Someone once told me, "My dog won't eat baloney. That oughta tell you something." It told me her dog was spoiled.
Yep, @Bill Boggs , people who have never had a fried baloney and cheese sandwich have missed some good eatin'. Or a baloney burger. Y'all should try it. Sauté some onion and green pepper in a little butter. Take a nice thick slice of baloney and fry it just enough to heat it through. Place it on a hamburger bun and cover it with the onion and green pepper. Prepare to enjoy a culinary treat.
In a land where bangers are popular I’d think that something like baloney would also be well received. Granted, the bangers are seasoned a little differently but so far as the type of meat contained in them it’s about the same as what can be found in baloney. Here, whilst hearing baloney we can at least enjoy eating some too....... I think we should start a new trend here. Instead of digging out the popcorn during a heated debate, a baloney sandwich might be even better in some cases. Maybe @Ken Anderson can even give us a popcorn and a baloney sandwich icon!
