    We have a 5 Guys also and I tried it because here they are second to In-N-Out. I prefer In-N-Out.

    I love Five Guys but, to be honest, I'm glad we don't have one in Millinocket. I already have a weight problem, so I wouldn't need that. As it is, we go to Bangor once every couple of weeks, and we don't always stop at Five Guys when we do, but we usually do. One small order of fries is enough for the both of us. They're good, and the burgers are even better.

    I never heard of 5 guys before. Or Mickey D's either. Is Mickey D's what some of you are calling McDonalds?

    @Sheldon Scott , Yup...Mickey D is McDonald's. :)

    We have a 5 Guys in my area too. I went with my grandson once and it is good. Big and good. They had what looked like 20 pound bags of potatoes stacked halfway up the windows. You can see them cook, quite a few on the line. The place was jumping, what with the community college across the street.

    Wish we had an In and Out.

    I like to cook my potatoes a little first, then slice them up and fry them in hot oil. My grandson's eat them as fast as I can cook them. We eat our fries without ketchup, just a little salt.

    Poutine, fries with gravy and cheese curds from Canada. Anyone ever have these?

    I haven't tried them but they are pretty popular in the St. John Valley of Maine, where I have land. Fort Kent has an annual poutine festival but, although I spent one full year there, and a few summers, I haven't tried them yet.

    When you try them Ken report back please. They are no where to be found here, that I know of. It figures these fries would be in Maine since the proximity to Canada. Thanks.
