If you so wish, @Micki Pembroke, I think there is room to allow a Canadian to join in on our National Grouch Day. I just found out that today, Tuesday October the 15th, is a day that is set aside especially for those who wish to be grouchy. We can growl, snark, quibble, snide, frown and in some instances probably burp and pass gas in public provided that it is done within the theme of being a grouch. I think I have to use a little wisdom whilst displaying my earned right for indeed, my wife and I will have to take turns. It just wouldn’t be proper to have two grouches in the same room at the same time. Note: Normally, Yvonne is Not a grouch but because it is a day set aside to be grouchy, one never knows what today will bring.

I learned today that despite my lower back problems I was able to load a whole builders Sack of leaves and branches into the recycle bin without too much pain ( I'm only searching for something to post here tbh)
Am totally enjoying Grouch Day. Looking forward to 2020 Grouch Day. Wondering if we can make a request to our governments about installing this day as a National Paid Holiday. .
I think that he means that his well pump guy is not going to be there today. Not a good thing if that is where all of his water is coming from, and the pump is broke down ! Hope the pump repairman is just running a little late and gets there in time to fix the pump this afternoon.
I was kind of pissed off since I had to hang around waiting for the guy. I finally left after sending them an email after 2 pm. It was almost 3 when I received an email saying that they'd had some emergencies(of course I questioned why I couldn't have been advised of them). My well pump guy also takes care of my water filtration system and that was today's job. They pushed next appointment til next Wednesday. Fortunately my cardiac rehab class finishes on next Monday.
