[IMG] Oh yea, we are ready. Outdoor décor is all up. Here is a photo of the ground décor with snow on it from our last snow on the 10th.

I'm as ready as I'm going to get. We pretty much ignore Halloween now. :D

@Lon Tanner: . Did you put up those decorations, or did the facility? Looks nice in either case.

To bad nobody here is having any kind of Halloween Party. Wife and I could really show off our Female Stormtrooper and Darth Vader costumes. Then again, I may just greet Trick or Treaters at our door with my Vader costume on. Wife and I had a blast in 2017 doing that.

Here is a photo of me and some apt. complex kids. Halloween10.JPG

And, a nice "selfie" of me and my Stormtrooper wife. Halloween4.JPG

Individual Residents put up decorations of their own choosing. I did not decorate my own entry.

Alsolutrly ready. We had some kids about 20 years ago but never again. No kids in our neighborhood and the parents in town don't drive them around.

The kids that come to our door will be the visiting Grands & Greats of the residents.

We pretty much ignore Halloween. The kids come around, but we just ignore the knocking, there's plenty other homes they can visit.. the problem is that less than a week later we have Guy Fawkes night, which is a whole bigger deal that Halloween.. that's when we celebrate bonfire night, and firework parties go on all around the country, with parents taking their kids to organised firework parties where they eat hot jacket potatoes, hot-dogs , and drink hot chocolate on the 5th of November or the weekend night closest to it.. .. then sometimes for a week before the 5th of November, and often a week afterwards, we have constant very loud bangs and swooshings of fireworks going off well into the early hours of the morning night after night in people's own private gardens, or in local parks by individuals or kids ... it scares the bejeezus out of people's pets..

I let the kids go when they were young, but it is not a holiday I even like. I ignore it as well. I go to the back of my house with all the lights to the front off and pretend I'm not home. :)

Turning off your lights makes you a perfect target for a TRICK Kids know.

Heck, my wife's mom made her own Halloween costume when she was in her mid 80's. She was the Statue of Liberty and won 1st Prize at her apartment complex Halloween Party.

I remember, when we lived here in Colorado before, I found an Adult Bat Man costume. It was a cheap one, but it looked pretty neat on me. My wife made up a Cat Woman costume and we went to a Halloween Party as Bat Man and Cat Woman.
