Feeling nostalgic, I bought some Bit-O-Honey, Black Jack gum, Clove gum, and Beechmans gum, although the Bit-O-Honey that I bought as a kid was the larger bars rather than these individually wrapped ones. The Beechmans is nothing special, but it came with the others. I can't imagine why kids don't chew Black Jack today, as it's still the best.
Ooooh, I love Bit-0-Honey!! I had totally forgotten about those. I also liked those coconut candy bars that were tri-colored... pink, white and brown. Each section tasted exactly the same.
gosh.....I don't have any pictures ...much less the real stuff...amazed you even found them in a store...yum
They carry the classic gums (as well as several candies) at Cracker Barrel restaurants, but I bought them on Amazon.
I remember when we all chewed Clove gum so we wouldn't have cigarette breath at church. (Like people couldn't smell it on our clothes.) Of course, we all started with these..........
I also chewed Teaberry gum...anyone remember that one...can’t remember what it tasted like though. My favorite gum was juicy fruit and Stripes.
