First time I heard Neil Sedaka I'd have sworn I was listening to a female. I later became a big devotee.

This is an Aussie band I think has a great sound. I admired them as they preferred to stay home and perform to a local audience. Hope you like em. Tell me who you think the lead vocalist sounds like.

Last night I relaxed by watching an 80s Show with live acts by Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, Paul Young, Carol Decker, Katrina and the Waves and others. Although the 80s was a gloomy time for me, I enjoyed the old songs and managed to really get away from it all. Just pondered why some singers don't use (or are not allowed to use) playback as they age. It was a bit embarrassing to hear that especially Paul Young couldn't carry a tune occasionally. Playback wouldn't do them any harm. Kershaw said he'd never understood what his song The Riddle was all about.

Tbh, meanwhile I find it hard to listen to some of them. The ones I can still listen to are those which evoke special memories making certain songs timeless for me like this one.

A couple of years ago, Paul McCartney was on some nighttime show, perhaps Saturday Night Live. I hadn't heard him in a while and was shocked to find that he couldn't carry a tune any better than the average drunk you might find in a bar. I wondered why he would even try, he was so awful. However, I have since heard him sing, and he was much better than that.
