Loved the vanilla ones as a kid. You refrigerate them, then smack them on the counter to break into pieces. They sell them up this way.
Most of the 'vintage' candy brands were so full of sugar and unhealthy until it's probably a good thing we didn't pass them to other countries. I'm sure you guys had much better candy.
What about these? I've been carrying a film container of Jujubes with me for the past 42 years, since I quit smoking. Hal
Damn it Hal, you beat me to it!!! These are my favorites now because they can be enjoyed with dentures out!!! Also M&M's without the peanuts. In times past PAY DAY! Of course a good ol plain dark chocolate Herseys is great after a dark beer.
I'm ordering a bag of Bit-o-Honey from Amazon today. Thanks, @Ken Anderson; my dentist appreciates you.
The smaller, individually wrapped, Bit-O-Honeys were softer than I remembered the larger Bit-O-Honey bars being.
Good to know. I have to wait on cool weather to order candies and such, or I have a box o'goo on my porch.
In case anyone is wondering what to do with the candy corn from Halloween..... Candy Corn Pizza ( I guess the recipe would be online somewhere.)
