Speaking of bad British accents, another series with Michael C. Hall called "Safe." His accent is the worst, and the show was unremarkable.
@Beth Gallagher Such "southern exposure" is a necessity if the guy must maintain physical position as a womanizer! Frank
Beth, I agree about "Safe." I liked Michael C. Hall a lot in Six Feet Under, and couldn't believe how bad he was in this one. I couldn't even figure out what kind of accent that was supposed to be: maybe Aussie but not quite, or some kind of oddball British? The story wasn't particularly interesting either. I gave up after 2-3 episodes.
think you mean anyone who mistook him for being English. The Welsh are British.. Wales is part of Great Britain,..as is Scotland and England. The UK OTOH...is the 3 aforementioned plus Northern Ireland Most people who are Scottish, Welsh or Irish.. get offended if they're mistaken for English..even if we live in England., simply because we're distinctly different from the English, in our customs, and our language... for example I live in England and I'm very happy to live in England and married to an Englishman and my daughter was born and raised here , but my home and my heart will always be Scotland...
