Favorite Holiday Meals

Did you know that the wild turkey's favorite food is a tick or two.

 

I did not. I thought they ate grass type foods since my husband used to shoot one right before Thanksgiving every year in a meadow on our property. It previously had been a cow field, so I thought they ate the alfalfa or whatever that still grew in the area.

 

They do but their favorite protein is tick.

 

They are good for grasshopper control as well.
