I actually think a roof like this would be cool, as long as it didn't leak.

 

I'm not sure I understand the logic here, but it IS strange.

I can see the logic. A grownup reliving his childhood when he had a tree house.

 

The tree house is perfect logic. It was the planning of an inside, out of the rain, staircase which opened to an open, in the rain, bridge to it which made no sense.
