So, the former VP candidate has come out as supporting Trump for POTUS. Will this be a help to Trump's run? Or, will it be problematic?

    http://news.yahoo.com/cops-sarah-palins-son-track-012900111.html

While appearing in front of cameras with Trump, her son was back home getting arrested for domestic violence. With a BAT of .189, he allegedly punched his wife in the face. Her daughter just gave birth to her second child out of wedlock. Had either of these incidents happened to most anyone else, we would never have seen anything in the headlines. With Ms. Palin's desire to be front-and-center in the political arena, issues like this quickly make the front page.

Is Ms. Palin actually campaigning for a place in the Trump cabinet? She has maintained a strong base of supporters. Will that support move with her to Trump? Or, will the support lean towards a more evangelical candidate like Cruz? IOW, will Palin's announcing her support of Trump change any dynamics in the 2016 election cycle?

I don't know but it will surely be interesting to watch how this plays out.

Always liked Sarah Palin, probably for some of the same reasons I like Trump. Neither one are carbon copy politicians, but are unconventional and independent enough to remind us of leaders America once had.

Just so Trump doesn't choose her as his Vice Presidential running mate….that would spell campaign suicide, not because I don't like her (I do) but because the media hates her and has effectively branded her a bimbo to the point that many Americans don't take her seriously. But the fact that she has merely endorsed Trump is just adding support to his campaign. That's to his favor. And yes, Palin has her sights on running for president one day…I saw her say "I wouldn't rule it out" in an interview I saw a few months ago (I think it was on her own Alaskan network?)

It was a bad day for Cruz with only a week away from the Iowa caucus. He needs a great endorser (better than Palin)…pronto! Like Paul Ryan (haha wishful thinking) or even an entertainer who is involved in republican politics like Kelsey Grammer, Gary Senise, Robert Duvall, Angie Harmon, Robert Downy Jr, Bruce Willis, Pat Boone, etc

Gary Senise is a major supporter of the military, has traveled to entertain U.S. troops in Afghanistan, Europe, Asia, and Guantanamo Bay, and started the Gary Sinese Foundation to help America's military members and families. The "Forrest Gump" star also is a founding member of Friends of Abe, a Hollywood conservative group.

Pat Boone campaigned for Ronald Reagan and McCain. BTW, forget Schwarzenegger. He'd just be another Bill Clinton issue.

Oh…and the other issue…what behavioral problems Palin's kids have is NOTHING compared to the behavioral problem Bill Clinton had while President and in the Oval Office no less, who is now Hillary's chosen endorsement! But the media will downplay that and "up-play" Palin's daughter being an unwed mother and her son's issues.

A nice big basket of mixed kittens, don't you think? With Palin endorsing Trump, and Branstad, the governor of Iowa and the longest sitting governor in the U.S. just forceably announcing his lack of backing for Cruz things are going to get really interesting in a little over a week.
And to top things off on the evangelical front, Jerry Falwell Jr. is endorsing Trump also which makes the basket a tad bit more interesting for the Iowa caucus polls which has Cruz listed as only one point higher than Trump.
The media is going to have to work overtime to get a realistic grasp of the minute by minute events taking place in this campaign.

Now, on the other front, good ole Bernie is listed as being nearly 40 points ahead of Hillary in the New Hampshire polls. Oh yeah, Bernie is known as the "guy next door" in that neck of the woods.

I already like you @Lara Moss but I think you are growing on me even more by leaps and bounds with this last post. Folks either forget or do no think about that fact that if Hillary is elected then Bill will be back in the White House not only pulling some strings with one hand but operating the zipper on his pants with the other.
Palin's family (nor probably Palin) will not be in the White House should Trump be elected. It is not Sarah's family who is endorsing Trump, it is Sarah Palin and only Sarah Palin.

:eek: I guess it wouldn't do any good to say "Are you SERIOUS?!" because I know you wouldn't make it up. That one surprises me... Palin's endorsement didn't surprise me... Falwell Jr. does. Hmmmm.... I'll have to think on that one.

This would be a good time to say that I am NOT very much into politics. I know what I want and I know who can provide it better than the others... but the nitty gritty details, not so much knowledge on it... so be aware this may be a "duh" question that everyone and his Aunt Beulah knows, but I don't. Are former presidents and/or their spouses allowed to endorse? If so, I guess we all know who Clinton would go with (but wouldn't it be delicious if he endorsed someone else?!) but I wonder about Bush & Bush and Nancy Reagan.

Ignore this question and pretend it doesn't exist if they DID already endorse someone... it's been a horridly stressful week... no, month, for me and I'm way behind with current events. o_O

In the end, an endorsement only means someone with power of voice and/or money is backing a candidate. In this case Palin as well as Falwell Jr. is asking her / his supporters to also support Trump. Slick Willie has already announced his support for Hillary to the tune of officially campaigning for her a couple of weeks ago.

And yes, it would be something to see if Bill would say, make a run for the other dress and or slacks in the opposing camps campaign, dear Carly Fiorina. It would never happen (at least not in public) but one can only imagine the grand fire works and how much fun the media would have ducking that particular tidbit.

Oh yeah, and the other thing. Yes, the past and the present president(s) can and often do put their own nod to their choice of candidates. The Bush family is totally behind Jeb, and Obama will probably wait to endorse whoever wins the Democratic primary.

Can you imagine Trump and Bernie Sanders debating against one another for the presidency?? Talk about fireworks. Did you see Sanders in the democratic debate against Hillary? He was extremely passionate to say the least, but remained a gentleman, I must say. I worry about Sanders blood pressure. He sure could rattle Trump's cage I bet.

:oops:Well we Americans have a big decision this voting year as always when we vote. I feel Americans will do their best for America as we vote. Trump and Palin is surely in the news like MSNBC, so it's gong to be an interesting race as usual!

After the news of what the inspector general broke concerning Hillary's emails containing SAP (Special Attention Program) files we may be looking at just that. Apparently SAP has priority over TOP SECRET files and are only for the eyes of a select few: The president, Vice President, Secretary of State, Defence Secretary and a couple more.
Now they are just trying to find out how many other people have read those files because of the personal [weak security] server that Hillary was using.
The left is trying to compare it now with the Petraus incident which is much different than what she did. He didn't lie to the FBI, Congress, and the American people about what he did. He took his lumps and even after the fact he is still facing a demotion in rank. I digress.
It finally looks like the FBI may be dropping a bomb on Hillary sometime soon but we still have to see if Obama's buddy, the Attorney General will prosecute.

Yeah, I liked her, too... first because everyone immediately started picking on her. Hate injustice.

NOOOOOO to Palin as a running mate in my opinion. I liked her at the very very beginning but after that, No.

She has too much negative baggage and will bring Trump down.
