No, I remembered. I just wasn't sure how popular country folk music is over there.....and now I know. A lot of our Bluegrass, older country songs and traditional hymns were brought over by those particular immigrants, who were labeled hillbillies and rednecks. None of us mind though. We like who we are and the odd way we do things.
The Nope one is hilarious. I knew he was a Redneck before that. I laughed out loud when he said, "Yea-yasss!" I bet he drives an ol' beat up Ford truck, too. @Bess Barber , country folks will survive. We have learned to make do with what we have to do with.
The photo of baby and daddy are precious; the little one a darling. I shared that with several members of my family, who also appreciated the clip and do hope you don't mind.
Oooh it's not mine, and I certainly don't mind Bill...however thank you for sharing, I think it deserves to be shared and hopefully this guy might get some publicity out of it for his band
I would have to hook up a microphone and amplifier to do that, wouldn't I? Besides...you would immediately get a different impression of me once you heard my voice! Hal
Bess, your sweet reply makes me feel warm all over, making me temporarily forget the Adminstration's threat to permanently ban me from the Forum. (Incidentally, I possess a fine Baritone voice.) Hal
I think that this must be another one of your “tall tales”, @Hal Pollner . Our forum administrator has never banned anyone permanently in all the time I have been on this forum. I don’t think that you have been banned here even temporarily, so it is unkind to make such unjust remarks about someone.
