Do you use any kind? If "yes", why? Both of us have a pair of Dr. Scholl's Heel Support Inserts. I got mine first after the heel on my one foot started hurting. Didn't know what caused the pain, until I got an exam/x-ray from an orthopedic foot doctor. I told him about the heel supports I was using and he highly recommended them. My pain was from a stretched tendon in the bottom of my foot. I still wear them in a pair of walking shoes I have. Other Insert we use are Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles. I have a pair in my Ariat Hiking Boots and Ariat Ropers. Just last night, I took out the heel supports and put in the gel insoles into my hiking boots. These gel insoles are so nice to walk on. At one time, neither of us used any kind of shoe/boot insert at all.
NO I don't use inserts, but I buy shoes with the Memory sole ''Go Ga Mat ( sketchers) already inserted as part of the shoe... I've used them ever since I got PF, from standing on concrete at work for 10 or 11 hours per day...
Me too. I prefer to be barefoot and only wear flip flops if I leave my house. I'm not a shoe girl at all.
What's weird is that I love shoes; I have way too many. I just buy them to look at since I quit working, haha.
Yes have used for years bit do Dr Scholl. Was told I could no longer go barefoot either...use to live being badge foot.
Wouldn't it be nice if you still had the same feet as 40 years ago? Arthritis and loss of fatty padding takes its toll. I wear inserts on some shoes and not others. I use a callous file and lotion on the bottom of my feet after a shower and it makes a difference.
When it comes to shoes I've always been a comfort over style person. Comfort now days means inserts even in my comfortable shoes.
All my shoes and boots have Dr. Scholls. I paid big money for some other insoles, but the $7 ones by Dr. Scholl are the best.
