Thanks for the idea of lining the drawer though. They always end up getting weird pieces of stuff in them all dried up and hard to get out. So, instead of taking out the whole drawer, I can just put a liner in it to roll up and shake in the trash. Brilliant!
I'm not so good at scrubbing things anymore... like the shower stall, wheels on the car, whatever. So I ordered a set of THESE from Amazon. Now the only problem will be whether I can hold up the cordless drill long enough, haha. I'll report back if they suck.
My vacuum cleaner has a headlight; it really does show the dust on hardwood. I need to unscrew that bulb.
Those lighted slippers reminded me of the hats with the headlamp thing. I bought one for my husband (though he doesn't usually wear hats) to keep in our RV. It comes in handy to walk around campgrounds after dark and was really helpful when we had a little dog who needed to go out at night when we were camping. Allows hands-free light source if you need to work on something in a dark area.
Hi, Holly! To most of the rest of you, I'm new here. (Holly and I know each other from another forum.) My two favorites are my Grabber, and my wine bottle opener. The Grabber is a simple stick that helps you reach things on high shelves, etc. Anything that's out of reach. You squeeze the trigger and the tongs grab onto whatever you are trying to reach. Very inexpensive and well worth it. The electronic wine bottle opener is made by Oster. Also inexpensive. It plugs into the wall and constantly recharges itself, so no batteries. No more struggling with corkscrews!
Welcome, @Sunny Allen . I hope you like it here. I have one of those grabber thingys. If I couldn't get another one, money couldn't buy it. I call it my "Hand" .
Extendible flexible dusters make my life so much quicker when cleaning, and no back breaking bending...
