How was you attracted to your spouse and visa/versa? Clothes, personality, hobbies/interests, income or what? For wife and I, when we met at a Denny's, it was clothes, personality and interests. I had placed a person ad in local magazine and she answered it thru a recorded message. We both showed up wearing cowboy hats. I was in Wrangler jeans and she had on Roper jeans. Actually, in her hat, Roper jeans, western blouse and blazer she looked totally like a Western Horse Show Judge. She loved my humor and we had a whole lot of the same interests, including rodeo. She told me, "the first time I seen you in the saddle, on a horse, I was totally in love all over again." Funny, but on our first date in March 2000, to meet with her older sister, her husband, a niece and her husband at a country-western nightclub, her niece told her, after seeing me do a 2-step with her Aunt (my wife), "yes, he's a keeper!".
awwww that's sweet..... I met my husband in a pub, we were friends for about 20 years saw each other occasionally in passing but we were both with other people at the time. !! He fancied me..I didn't fancy him.. but hey... came one day we both happened to be single, and we met up, and things just went from there.. and in 2 days time we'll be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary
Met my best friend at a Mexican eating place, somehow the topic got to fishing and shooting, well she used to be a fishing guide, had Shimano Tackle, Simms clothing & Danner boots, not what your twice a year outdoor person has, 1st date ended up at Gun Club, 3 months later we did a low light night shoot together on NY Eve. 8 yrs later still going strong. Good cook loves outdoors, likes dogs, had boat and pickup. Dentist by profession.
From the very start we were talking and we still are - lots of couples don't communicate which is sad The main attraction was his lovely eyes and wonderful sense of humour - we're a good match
He lived exactly 2 apartments above me and we kept getting each other's mail due to same last names and first and middle initials. I would just drop his off at the desk every day when I realized it wasn't mine, but one evening he rang my bell. I was marking papers from my nursing students and was rather startled since we lived in a high security building. When I cracked the door, there stood a 6'4" good looking fellow with some envelops in his hand. The rest is history.
I thought Hal was being witty, because the first thing Cody mentioned he found attractive was his wife's clothing... correct me if I'm wrong Hal..
you're first, middle and last names were the same , and you lived 2 floors apart in the same building?..well if ever there was a match meant to be that was definitely it.. , it's like something from a movie..
